Mary Kay Blake, DVM,
Practice Limited to Medical Oncology and Radiation Consultation and Referral

Dr. Blake received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. She then completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital.

After finishing a medical oncology residency in 1999 through the Animal Medical Center in New York and Colorado State University, she followed up with a residency in radiation therapy in conjunction with Colorado State University, VCA, and the UCLA Department of Radiation Oncology. Dr. Blake worked in private specialty practice for several years in Los Angeles and Orange Counties prior to joining Animal Specialty Group in the summer of 2007.

Dr. Blake is an active member of SCMVA, AVMA, ACVR and the Veterinary Cancer Society. She resides in Huntington Beach with her son and a new addition to the family – Spike, a mixed-breed rescue.
