Dr. Winters completed a one-year rotating internship at Angell Memorial West in Springfield, MA. She continued her training by completing a residency in small animal internal medicine at Tufts University and achieved board certification in 2006. Until joining the staff at Animal Specialty Group, Dr. Winters has been working at Tufts VETS as an assistant clinical professor and staff clinician. Dr. Winters brings with her a special interest in the management of endocrine, immune-mediated and infectious diseases. Dr. Winters recently moved from Massachusetts and now resides in Glendale with her husband and their daughter. She has two lovable dogs, Darby and Bogart, and two cats, Maddie and Rigley. When she is not working, she enjoys practicing yoga and hiking with her family and dogs. |

Dr. Kimberly Winters received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2002.
