Michael L. Huber, DVM, MS,

Veterinary Surgeons

Dr. Huber received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1993 from Purdue University.

After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Huber pursued postgraduate studies at the University of Minnesota and Auburn University.

While at the University of Minnesota, he completed an internship in small animal medicine, surgery and emergency medicine.

In 1998, following the completion of a three-year residency program at Auburn University, Dr. Huber passed the board certification examination and earned his designation as a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.

Dr. Huber has received awards for academics and for outstanding poster presentation at the 1996 ACVS meeting.

His special interests include congenital and developmental diseases, emergency and critical care medicine, and thoracic, soft tissue and oncologic surgery.

Dr. Huber joined Animal Specialty Group in 1997.

He lives with his wife Kris, their kids, Jonathan and Megan, and their two dogs Foster and Webber.
